Easter Egg Hunt Round Up 2019
April 5, 2019 — 8 min read
While it seems like spring just started, we're already looking at Easter coming up quickly! Easter falls on April 21st this year, and we've compiled a list of Easter Egg Hunts near all of our PRM branch locations.
Venessa Eck and the Egg Hunt For Hope
Before we list out all the events, we'd like to cover one specific egg hunt, because it's sponsored by our very own Venessa Eck. Venessa is part of the Sherwood, OR community, and sponsors the Egg Hunt for Hope. She's been a sponsor and on the committee for four years. The Egg Hunt for Hope is a benefit event which chooses a different cancer warrior recipient to sponsor each year. Venessa said she was inspired to become a sponsor for this event after her mother in law passed away from cancer 4 years ago.
Venessa works with Todd and Leslie McCabe, the creators of Egg Hunt for Hope, and when she found out about this event, she knew she needed to get involved. Venessa's whole family gets together on the day of the egg hunt, helping with set up, distributing the eggs before the hunt, and cleaning up afterwards. Venessa said one of the best aspects of this event is being able to witness the generosity of the creators and the community all rallying together to help support someone in their time of need. For more info about the Egg Hunt for Hope, see below.
