We communicated weeks in advance that we would be out of town for the scheduled closing time and the issue was still not addressed/resolved until the day before. Closing had to be bumped back until we returned when we were assured it would not be a problem to close remotely.

We had one issue, and I am not sure who was responsible. I started communicating with Brittany several weeks before our scheduled closing of Sept 14 that Kevin and I would be in Alaska that date. She said she would arrange for a notary to meet us and we could sign the papers there. I confirmed that with her a couple of times and made sure she knew where we were at all times. Literally the day before signing she contacted us and said the lender, by which she meant your office, was requiring all 3 of our signatures to be on the same paper. What this meant was we couldn’t sign until the 17th, and the electricians we had scheduled to come in and do work had to be cancelled, and couldn’t be rescheduled for weeks. This was very upsetting because both my daughter and I had been very proactive about communicating with Brittany and doing everything we could to be available. She had assured us right up until the 13th that everything would be fine to have us sign remotely.
