We intentionally took a mortgage with a high interest rate with the hopes that we could raise additional cash and lower the principle along with the rate before too much time passed. It all worked out as we had hoped. It is a little difficult conducting business long distance. It took a little while to get us both on the same page but in the end it all worked out. I have already encouraged our cousin to contact Samantha to look into a refi possibility as well. I do hope that works out.
