Clackamas, about 20 miles Southeast of downtown Portland, sits north of the Clackamas River. It offers an abundance of outdoor activities, including hiking in the nearby Mt. Hood National Forest.

With access to miles of scenic mountain roads, Clackamas is home to the End of the Oregon Trail Interpretive Center, which showcases life in the early 1800s. The Clackamas Town Center mall is a popular attraction for shoppers. Nearby, Mt. Tabor Park covers an extinct volcano with tennis courts, a playground, and trails.

For indoor adventures, The North Clackamas Aquatic Park offers a wave pool, water slides, and a rock wall.

Located just a hop, skip, and a jump outside of Portland, Oregon. Beaverton is friendly suburban hub that is home to close to 100,000 people.

Ranked nationally as a one of the best places to live, Beaverton provides access to great doctors and hospitals as well as farm-fresh produce—including a year-round farmer’s market—and miles of hiking trails. It’s also home to some of the state’s biggest employers, including Nike and Intel.
