For outdoor offerings, head to the Thunderbird Conservation Park, a more than 1,100-acre preserve with trails for horseback riding, mountain biking, and hiking. Nearby, visit Wet ‘n’ Wild Phoenix, the state’s largest theme park.

Located just a hop, skip, and a jump outside of Portland, Oregon. Beaverton is friendly suburban hub that is home to close to 100,000 people.

Ranked nationally as a one of the best places to live, Beaverton provides access to great doctors and hospitals as well as farm-fresh produce—including a year-round farmer’s market—and miles of hiking trails. It’s also home to some of the state’s biggest employers, including Nike and Intel.
