Get to Know Mat Anderson
I'm a Producing Branch Manager from Reno, Nevada, and joined the PacRes team in June 2022.
I launched my mortgage career in 2016 after becoming frustrated with the mortgage process and abandoning my homeownership dream; since then, I've worked tirelessly to deliver on my promise to help hopeful homeowners understand every step of the mortgage process and achieve their long-term financial goals.
Over the years, I've become particularly passionate about helping veterans and first-time homebuyers take advantage of their unique homebuying benefits. I've also earned licenses in California, Arizona, and Tennessee.
When I'm not in the office, I enjoy spending time with my son and my partner and helping out with her cat rescue, Feral at Heart. I also enjoy playing basketball, hiking, traveling, and volunteering through my church and local and national organizations.
Whatever you're working toward, trust me to treat you with kindness, compassion, and respect from start to finish, and beyond. I look forward to building a personal relationship with you as we work together to make a confident next move!
Nestled next to the Humboldt National Forest, Elko—named one of the Top True Western Towns in the United States—is a growing suburban space filled with families and young professionals.
If you need a refreshment, the city has restaurants, saloons, and coffee shops aplenty. If you want to get out in nature, there’s easy access to the Wild Horse Reservoir, the Ruby Mountains, and more than 20 alpine lakes.
Closer to town, there’s the California Trail Historic Interpretive Center, the Western Folklife Center, and the Cowboy Arts & Gear Museum.
If it’s a nice day, check out Elko Mural Tour, which depicts cowboy cultures through more than 60 murals within a one-square-mile piece of downtown Elko.
I felt like I was treated like family, great communication and helping me with any questions I had.
